Sharon is an Australian qualified lawyer with extensive legal experience in the region having worked in the UAE since 2009. She has a particular focus on litigation in the UAE onshore and free zone courts.

She advises clients and oversees Global’s dispute resolution team in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration pertaining to financial mis-selling, property disputes, insolvency and general commercial litigation as well as criminal law. She has particular experience in cross border and multi-jurisdictional cases and enforcement of foreign and domestic judgements and arbitration awards.

Sharon has been involved in ground-breaking cases before the UAE’s free zone Courts in the DIFC and ADGM, including a number of significant decisions on jurisdiction, insolvency and financial mis-selling.  She is registered in Part II of the DIFC Courts' Register of Practitioners and currently sits on the DIFC Courts’ Users’ Committee.
